Welcome to Conestoga House and Gardens!

We are located at 1608 Marietta Avenue in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The gardens are open to the public from June 11 to September 24 on a limited basis, with both docent-guided tours and self-guided tours available. There is no admission charge, but reservations for all guided tours must be made in advance. Visitors are asked to please wear sturdy, comfortable walking shoes.

We are primarily a summer gardens with an emphasis on tropicals and container plantings. Our displays include over 3300 annuals, some 400 tropical plants, over 160 varieties of perennials, and some 20 different varieties of roses. Most of our plants are identified and labeled with both their botanical names and their common names.

For the children and the young-at-heart we feature a Topiary Animal Hunt with over a dozen whimsical figures displayed throughout the gardens.
